Gail & Cory reached out to me in May 2020, which was at the beginning of COVID and in hindsight, the early stages of the hottest real estate market in history.



I had a South Ajax home listed for sale that I was marketing online, and they seemed  really interested in it. Since it was already sold conditionally, I suggested we meet so  we could discuss their home buying needs further, including their exact search criteria.  Before COVID, most of our meetings with buyers were at our office. However, because  most offices had to be closed to the public, we had to start using technology and we met  with Cory and Gail by Zoom. If there was one positive that came out of COVID, it was  the introduction of virtual meetings to the general public!



They met with one of the agents from our team and we found out they were presently  renting in Toronto, had been pre-approved for a mortgage and would like to buy by  September, since they were waiting to find something before setting a date for their  wedding. They thought that 4 months should be enough time to find and buy something  (quick note – that was ambitious). Sometimes, it takes a little longer to find your dream home, but with a good agent searching for and sending you listings daily and providing good real estate advice, you  will find the home you love. As the saying goes, “Good things come to those who wait”
